Return-It Electronics Recycling Program

returnit1Starting August 2007 all major electronics will be part of the new Return-It Electronics program. All new Desktop Computers, Computer Monitors, Notebook Computers, Desktop Printers, Desktop Fax Machines and Televisions sold in the Province of British Columbia will have a recycling fee added to the purchase price. Also new dropoff facilities will be created to allow electronics to be disposed of and recycled in an environmentally sound manner.

This program takes effect on August 1, 2007.
